There may be ‘green shoots’ in the UK economy, but how does a business find and exploit new opportunities as they arise? This is the theme of this year’s free ‘Boost Your Business’ event, co-hosted by Bromley Council and Business Link, taking place on Thursday 18th March 9am – 3pm at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley High Street – a definite date for your diary if you run a local business.

‘Boost Your Business: Making the Most of New Opportunities’ will present an opportunity to find out what help is on hand to help your business take advantage of the upturn. As in previous years delegates can expect some excellent key note seminars on major topics, including 'Preparing Your Business for the Upturn', 'Marketing for SME’s' and 'Effective Networking'. New for 2010 we are also offering an alternative programme of short workshops covering additional topics, including export opportunities and e-commerce. In addition there will be plenty of chance to put your networking skills to the test, with many other local businesses in attendance and with a free speed networking session rounding the day off (booking required).

The event brings together business support agencies in an exhibition featuring Business Link, HM Revenue & Customs, London Business Network, Business Focus at Bromley College and many more – all offering practical advice and information on steps you can take to improve your business. Entrance to Boost Your Business is free of charge, including refreshments and lunch. To ensure your place on a seminar of your choice you are advised to book in advance.
