YOUNGSTERS got creative as part of their school’s business challenge week.
All 260 pupils at Istead Rise Primary School in Downs Road spent a week working with local businesses.
The students made Mother’s day floral designs for a florist, healthy eating postcards for a chemist, an e-zine for a residents’ association and a logo for an estate agent.
They also made paper mache models of tools and saws for a hardware shop.
At the end of the week the children, aged between four and 11, presented their work to the businesses.
Year 2 teacher Krisha White said: “When we went to show their work they were really surprised with what the children had come up with.
“They were really pleased with how much effort they had put in.”
