A UNIVERSITY student has organised a special event to help mums and children celebrate Mothers Day.
Leonie Demetriou, is studying Events Management at the University of Greenwich and has organised a Mum's The Word event on March 14 as part of his course.
Greenwich Park Bar and Grill in King William Walk, Greenwich, will host the occasion from 1pm to 6m where children can bring their mums for a spot of afternoon tea followed by a photo shoot.
Money raised from the event will go towards the Willow Foundation Charity which provides day-trips for seriously ill 14 to 60-year-olds.
Leonie said: "The event will include wine on arrival, afternoon tea, pampering, a mini photo-shoot, and many other surprises."
Tickets cost £25 and it is open to people aged 12 and over.
