PUPILS at a primary school in Horton Kirby raised money to buy colour televisions for the children's ward at Darent Valley Hospital.
Children from Horton Kirby Primary School, in Horton Road, raised £341 in a collection after their Christmas play and concert.
And they decided to buy six televisions for Willow ward at the Dartford hospital with the money.
School secretary Teresa Coombes said: "Everyone was really generous at our Christmas concert and play and we are delighted to be able to hand over six TVs to the school."
And Sister Jackie Ayers, from Willow ward, said: "We're absolutely delighted with the TVs.
"We thought we were only going to get one and couldn't believe it when we got six. Our ward has been short of televisions so they will come in useful."
