CHURCH CONCERT: A concert is being held at St Mary Magdalene Church in The Street, Cobham, on February 9 in aid of The Friends of Cobham Church. The concert starts at 7.30pm. CHARITY QUIZ: The British Porphyria Association is to hold a series of fund raising events including a table top car boot type sale and a quiz night at the St Christopher Centre, both on March 2 at Riverview Park, Gravesend. SCOUTS HONOUR: The Mayor has been invited to open a new playing field on behalf of Gravesham Scout Association, in what is billed as a day of events. The Hopehill Campsite in Meopham is set to host cross country running and tree planting among other things on Saturday February 23.
SOCIAL STAMPS: The Gravesend and District Stamp Club has unveiled a series of events for its March and April calender. On Friday March 22 there will be a quiz night and regular meetings of the group will take place at the Anglo-Saxon Hall, Berkeley Road in Gravesend.
