On NOvember 24, Orpington Photographic Society held its Slide and Monochrome Print Competition No 2 at th regularly Tuesday meetings.
Entries were judged by Malcolm Hardie.
The top scorers were plentiful with two 10’s in Class 2 and an astounding five in Class 1 for the Monochrome prints.
In Class 2, Mike Wood with “North-west Scottish Loch” and Peter Radford with “Cathedral Towers, Krakow” scored 10.
In Class 1, Tony Seppings scored two 10’s with “The Three Birches” and “Towards Gruinard Bay”.
Ron Stubbings “Courtyard of Ightham Mote”, Peter Humphrey’s “Towards Crummock Water” and Paul Griffiths “Blinded by the Light” all received top scores.
In the colour slide competition there were four top scorers: Irene Palmer with “In the Altiplano”; John Abrook FRPS with “Rushing Water”; John Palmer with “Sulpher Tufts” and John Howard with “Morning on the Common” all scored 10.
The OPS meets regularly at 7.30pm every Tuesday at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington and welcomes newcomers.
