A 30-YEAR-OLD man accused of sexually abusing a young girl has been cleared of all charges.

Joseph Lyttle, of Coltness Crescent, Abbey Wood, was today found not-guilty of two counts of assault on a child aged under 13.

He was arrested on November 28 lsat year and accused of assaulting a young girl twice in 2007. But a Woolwich Crown Court jury took just two hours to clear him of the charges following a week-long trial.

Speaking to News Shopper after the verdict, Mr Lyttle said: "I cannot explain just how horrible this experience has been.

"It is by far and away the worst thing that has happened in my life; the worst thing I have had to go through.

"Now I can just start getting on with things and enjoy Christmas without this hanging over me."

The builder added: "I am so angry that I was ever accused of such a thing, but I still have my close friends and my family.

"They knew I had nothing to do with this and they have been brilliant.

"Me and my girlfriend are going to go on holiday early next year to unwind and just forget about it all."
