Flood risks

Communities, homes and businesses will be better protected from the risk of flooding and water shortages in future, according to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The government department has published its flood and water management bill which will put local authorities like Bromley Council in charge of dealing with local flood risks and the Environment Agency in charge of overseeing flooding and coastal erosion nationally.
