AN Old Bailey jury has heard the prosecution's final speech in the trial of two teenagers accused of causing the death of Rosimeiri Boxall.

Oluwakemi Ajose, aged 19, of Floyd Road, Charlton, and a 15-year-old girl from Belvedere, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.

Miss Boxall, of Battery Road, Thamesmead, was found beneath an open window after falling from the second floor of a three-storey house in Coleraine Road, Blackheath, on May 17 last year.

The 19-year-old victim was the adopted daughter of the Rev Simon Boxall.

It is alleged the two defendants were bullying Miss Boxall before she plunged to her death.

Prosecutor Roger Smart today described the evidence given by different witnesses heard throughout the trial which began on October 27.

He reminded the jury of the moment Ajose and the 15-year-old left the flat when Miss Boxall fell from the window.

The defendants claimed they left to see two boys who they had met the previous night.

But Mr Smart said: "They were not leaving the flat for enthusiasm to see Shane and Sheek. They were leaving the flat for some quite different reason."

He also spoke about the moment the 15-year-old tried to pack her bag and leave.

Mr Smart said: "She said she wanted to pack her bag because she was concerned about Rosie. But why would she say to Donna (a friend) 'let's bounce'? She didn't pack any of Rosie's things."

He asked the jury: "Was that an attempt to decieve you?"

The trial continues.
