A TOUCH of glamour has arrived into the lives of the women who live in a home for the elderly.
Abbottsleigh Mews in Old Farm Road East, Sidcup, has just opened up its own beauty salon.
Called Teasy Weasy’s after the 1960s celebrity hairdresser, the salon offers free services such as manicures, hairdressing, hand massages and aromatherapy to residents.
The salon has been created using cash raised at the home’s summer fete and staff have been sent on training courses to equip them with the necessary skills to provide the services.
