PUNTERS and staff at Crayford Greyhound Track looked pretty in pink when it held a charity night in aid of breast cancer research.
There were spot prizes during the meeting for the best dressed members of the public and staff who paid £2 to dress up on the night.
Pink roses and pink sweets were on sale during the evening and greyhounds in each race were individually sponsored with a bottle of pink bubbly to each winning sponsor.
Local businessman Brendan Riney put up £250 prize money for his sponsored race and dog owner Mike Fawsitt donated his £175 prize money to the charity.
The event hit its goal of raising £1,500.
Track marketing manager Diana Illingworth said: “The staff really did throw themselves into the theme, including Josh Aarons, a member of the track maintenance team, who looked the part, driving the tractor between races in a pink tutu.”
