A 15-YEAR-OLD girl told the Old Bailey today (Nov 11) she could not remember inviting people to watch Rosimeiri Boxall get beaten up before her death.

Miss Boxall, of Battery Road, Thamesmead, was found beneath an open window after falling from a building in Coleraine Road, Blackheath, on May 17 last year.

Oluwakemi Ajose, aged 19, of Floyd Road, Charlton, and a 15-year-old girl from Belvedere, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.

The court has been told an argument started between the three girls at Ajose's flat in the building that day over two boys they had met the previous evening.

Prosecuting barrister Roger Smart put to the 15-year-old evidence from another friend, Donna Honeyman, that the defendant had threatened Miss Boxall, taking a light cord from the bathroom light, wrapping it around her hand and saying she hated liars.

The defendant replied: "I'm positive I never did that."

She also denied throwing the cord on the ground saying: "I may as well use my hands."

Some boys painting a downstairs flat allegedly saw the defendants "abusing" Miss Boxall.

Mr Smart asked her: "Did you and Kemi back Rosie into a corner downstairs outside George's flat?"

She replied: "No."

He asked: "Were you and Kemi abusing Rosie outside George's flat?"

She replied: "Abusing her? No."

Mr Smart asked her about claims that "Kemi had Rosie's hair and you were punching her in the head and face."

The girl replied: "That didn't happen at any stage."

It is alleged the three girls went back up to Ajose's flat and that the 15-year-old later went back down to see the boys, telling one of them there was going to be a fight.

But the girl told the court: "To be honest I don't remember saying that and I don't remember the boy either."

Mr Smart said: "You were trying to get an audience together weren't you, ready for Kemi and you assaulting Rosie. Is that what you were doing?"

She replied: "No, because if I wanted to do that it could have happened downstairs as well."

One of the boys filmed the fight on his phone and the court was played the footage again today.

Mr Smart said: "You knew that was going to happen didn't you?"

She replied: "No, not really."

The trial continues.
