FOLLOWING the success of artist Charlotte Cory’s The Circus of Light exhibition in central London last month, she has moved her show a little bit closer to home.

Resident Charlotte will be exhibiting The Christmas Cabinet of Curiosities at the Greenwich Theatre next month. from 1st December – 4th January 2010.

An acclaimed artist and writer, Charlotte Cory’s work brings an alternative vision of Victorian England to life in the 21st Century through a series of pieces that use colour, humour and shock tactics to make you look and think again.

Her work gets as close as you can to painting using photography.

Individually, each picture is a striking visual short story and collectively the exhibition creates a vivid and distinctive vision of an alternative parallel past.

Charlotte’s recent exhibition at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery caused quite a stir.

The grand opening attracted the great and the good who spilled onto Charlotte Street as they took a peak at her original work.

Famous fans such as Derren Brown tweeted about her exhibition and even bought a piece or two of her work.

The Queen has two of her works hanging in Windsor Castle and the All Saints fashion chain is bringing out t-shirts with her signature work on them.
