NORTH Kent’s top cop is coming to Gravesend town centre to speak to members of the public about any policing concerns they have.

Area commander Chief Superintendent Paul Brandon will be joined by Chief Inspector Philip Painter, who is in charge of neighbourhood policing, and members of Gravesham Council.

They will be outside the old Woolworths store on the corner of Gravesend High Street and New Road between 11am and 1pm on November 18.

Last month Mr Brandon held a surgery in Dartford High Street and this will be his first surgery in Gravesend.

Mr Brandon said: “The street surgery held in Dartford was a huge success.

“People I met told me their views on the service they receive from the police and I was pleased to hear the officers are doing a good job.”
