A SPECIALIST car company which services road and race vehicles, has had its own racing car stolen.
The distinctive BMW E30 M3 was stolen from the yard at Bexley Motor Works in Lion Road, Bexleyheath, together with two trailers, on November 1.
It was last seen being towed on one of the trailers, down Bexleyheath Broadway at about 11.30pm, loaded back to front.
Now the partners who own the company, Nigel French and Jags Bhamra are appealing for help in tracking down their missing vehicles, together valued at £25,000.
The company owns two race cars which the partners use to compete in the BMW Kumho Championships.
None of the stolen vehicles was on public view, as the locked yard is accessed down a side alley off Lion Road.
Mr French, 40, said: “They must have known what they were looking for.
“We think they will probably sell the trailers and break up the car for parts.
“They would not be able to race it anywhere.”
The four-wheel trailers are a Wessex with a tilt bed and an Ifor Williams with fixed bed and side boxes.
If you can help, call the company on 020 8304 9797 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
