AROUND 55,000 spring bulbs are to be planted across the area.
The bulbs, which have been brought by Bromley Council, include snowdrops, English bluebells, tulips and daffodils.
Within the next few weeks they will be planted across Bromley by a number of community groups.
Executive councillor for the environment, Councillor Colin Smith, said: “Our heartfelt thanks go to each and every person who has given their time by committing to this exciting planting project.
“A lot of thought has gone into what type of bulbs should be planted and where, and visitors will see the results of this for years to come.”
The thirty-eight sacks of bulbs are being distributed to Friends of Parks and other voluntary groups for planting.
Anyone interested in bulb planting or joining a Friends of Parks group should visit bromley.gov.uk/parks or call the landscape helpdesk on 020 8313 4471.
