TWO girls accused of the manslaughter of Rosimeiri Boxall argued outside after the teenager had fallen from a window, the Old Bailey heard today (Oct 30).

Miss Boxall, of Battery Road, Thamesmead, was found beneath an open window of a building in Coleraine Road, Blackheath, on May 17 last year.

Oluwakemi Ajose, aged 19, of Floyd Road, Charlton, and a 15-year-old girl from Belvedere, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of her manslaughter.

Witness Donna Honeyman, 18, claimed today Ajose was asking the 15-year-old: "Why would she do this?"

The girl replied: "Why are you asking me?"

Miss Honeyman said Ajose claimed she may have punched Miss Boxall but she "hadn't really hurt her".

Earlier, Miss Boxall's adoptive parents, who have been in court evey day, listened as the jury was told how the 15-year-old defendant had locked Rosimeiri in the kitchen before she fell to her death.

Both girls deny manslaughter.

The trial continues.
