A 15-YEAR-OLD girl told dying teenager Rosimeiri Boxall "it serves you right" and threw a phone at her moments after she had fallen from a window, the Old Bailey heard today (Oct 30).

Miss Boxall, of Battery Road, Thamesmead, was found beneath an open window of a building in Coleraine Road, Blackheath, on May 17 last year.

Oluwakemi Ajose, aged 19, of Floyd Road, Charlton, and a 15-year-old girl from Belvedere, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of her manslaughter.

The two defendants had been drinking on the day, the court heard.

Donna Honeyman, 18, a friend of the three girls, was asked by prosecutor Ben Fitzgerald how the defendants were behaving.

She said: "It looked like they were trying to impress each other and kept on picking on Rosie saying she was talking behind one of their backs."

After Miss Boxall denied this, the 15-year-old defendant went into the bathroom and got string from the light switch, Miss Honeyman said.

The girl wrapped it around her hand, saying she hated liars and was going to do something, Miss Honeyman told the court.

It was alleged by Miss Honeyman there was a simlar incident earlier that month between herself and the 15-year-old defendant.

Miss Honeyman said: "She just locked me in a room and started yelling. She threatened to hurt me. She took the mobile phone adaptor and wrapped it round her hand."

On that occasion, the police were called but no charge was brought.

On May 17 last year, Miss Honeyman had been downstairs in the building talking to a friend when Miss Boxall fell from the window.

She told the court what the two defendants had been saying as they came down the stairs.

Miss Honeyman said Ajose claimed the 15-year-old had pushed Miss Boxall but the younger defendant said: "That stupid bitch jumped."

After looking at her police interview transcipt, Miss Honeyman was asked if anything was said about Miss Boxall's mobile phone once she had fallen from the window.

She said the 15-year-old "took the Nokia from Rosie and she looked at it, and then she just threw it back to her." The younger defendant then allegedly said: "It serves you right."

Both girls deny manslaughter.

The trial continues.
