TWO girls bullied Rosimeiri Boxall moments before she died, the Old Bailey heard this afternoon (Oct 28).
Miss Boxall, of Battery Road, Thamesmead, was found beneath an open window of a building in Coleraine Road, Blackheath, on May 17 last year.
Oluwakemi Ajose, aged 19, of Floyd Road, Charlton, and a 15-year-old girl from Belvedere, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of her manslaughter.
After a witness from this morning failed to return to court, a second 16-year old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has given evidence.
The boy said he had been in a flat in the building painting with some friends.
He said: "The small girl and black girl came in and invited us to go into their apartment and started hanging about with us for a while. The other girl came down - Rose - and we started chilling with each other. And then that's when the bullying started."
The 16-year-old went outside with some of his friends. When he came back he saw the girls fighting.
He claims Ajose had Miss Boxall by the hair while the 15-year-old defendant punched her in the face.
He said: "You could hear the connection. It was just like a slap but much louder."
The 16-year-old witness was in his friend's flat when Miss Boxall fell from a window to her death.
He said: "I heard a thump."
The witness went on: "I ran out and saw her on the floor."
Both defendants deny manslaughter.
The trial continues.
