WITH pantomime season on the way, youngsters from a dance school have successfully auditioned for a part in a Christmas production.
Throughout December, seven students at the Dance Act Theatre School will be performing in Dick Whittington at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks.
For their audition, they were taught a routine which they had to perform in front of a panel of judges.
School principal Vikki Aldridge said: “For some of them it was their first audition so it was a bit nerve-wracking for them.
“For seven of ours to be selected is a brilliant achievement.”
The school, which has around 250 students aged from three to 20, meets from 4 to 8pm on Wednesdays at Welling School and from 4 to 9pm on Fridays at Hextable Dance Centre in Egerton Avenue.
