CHANGES have just been made to the night buses which serve parts of Bexley.
From last week, the 321 bus which runs between New Cross Gate and Foots Cray, via Lewisham, Eltham, New Eltham and Sidcup, has become a 24-hour service and now uses double decker buses.
Its daytime service remains unchanged, with buses every eight minutes Monday to Saturday, and every 12 minutes in the evenings and on Sunday.
The N21 bus which was running between Trafalgar Square and Foots Cray, via New Cross, Lewisham, Eltham, Blackfen and Sidcup, has now been rerouted at Blackfen and runs through Blendon, and Bexley Village, to provide extra night time services to Bexleyheath.
The areas of Blackfen and Sidcup via Willersley Avenue, no longer have a night bus services, but they are covered from early morning until after midnight, seven days a week, by the 51 bus.
Transport for London says it has made the changes following a review of the routes and consultations with interested parties.
