LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY The Bromley (Bus Lanes)(No.1) Order 1998 (Amendment No.9) Order 2009.
The Bromley (Loading Bays)(Time Restricted) Order 1996 (Amendment No.26) Order 2009
(Cray Avenue, Orpington; Augustus Lane, Orpington)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 9th October 2009 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 19th October 2009.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-
a) amend the hours of operation of the bus lane in Cray Avenue and Sevenoaks Way,
Orpington as specified in the Schedule to this notice; b) introduce a new loading bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Schedule:-
BUS LANE
Monday to Friday 7am – 10am and 4pm – 7pm south to north with flow:-
CRAY AVENUE, Orpington, the west side, from a point 160m north of the northern kerbline of Poverest Road to its junction with Sevenoaks Way.
SEVENOAKS WAY, Orpington, the west side, from its junction with Cray Avenue to the southern kerbline of Millfields Close.

LOADING BAY
Loading Bay – At Any Time – 2 hours waiting time, no return within 1 hour – Goods Vehicles:-
AUGUSTUS LANE, Orpington the west side, from a point 79m north of the northern kerbline of Station Road northwards for a distance of 16.5m.
