PEOPLE recovering from having a heart attack are taking part in weekly cardiac rehab sessions.
The 90-minute classes, which involve a variety of exercises, take place from 11.45am to 1.15pm every Tuesday at the Whiteoak Leisure Centre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley.
Currently there are 15 people taking part, aged from in their 50s to 80s, who have all kinds of heart conditions.
Sessions involve stretching, brisk walking, bike riding, stepping and using a trampoline.
Instructor Sue Larken said: βIt boosts their morale, and helps them to do something for themselves health-wise, and as well as physically, it helps with the mental side of things.β
For information about the classes call the leisure centre on 01322 662188.
