RESIDENTS can attend a lecture on the state of affairs in Germany.
The Bromley Town Twinning Assocation is holding the event on October 21 at 7.30pm in the United Reformed Church in Widmore Road, Bromley.
Peter Ritzer will be speaking during the lecture about current German affairs.
The talk is titled ‘Germany and the credit crunch’ and Mr Ritzer will be reviewing all aspects of the country’s economic and political scene.
He will also talk about the changes which have happened in Germany in the 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Bromley has been twinned with Neuwied in Germany since 1987.
There is no admission charge for the event but donations are requested. There will also be light refreshments available.
The association is an independent organisation which hold social events such as dinners, garden parties and coach trips to Germany.
