A FAIRTRADE fashion show with a cultural twist will mark the end of Black History Month.
Greenwich Heritage Centre will host the show on October 30 as part of Greenwich borough's month-long black culture celebrations.
Fashion students from Greenwich Community College will model their own Fairtrade multi-cultural clothing during an evening of entertainment including dances from Greenwich Dance Agency and a ten-minute musical by Greenwich Theatre pupils.
Greenwich Council cabinet member for culture and Olympics, Councillor John Fahy, said: βItβs extremely pleasing to have a Fairtrade event take place as part of Black History Month.
"Fairtrade helps thousands of people in the developing world build a better life for themselves and their wider communities.
"Raising awareness of the campaign as part of such a high-profile month can only help in getting even more people involved.β
