A HAIRDRESSER has dived into the record books after proving a cut above the rest snipping hair underwater.
David Rae has just found out he features on page 87 of the new Guinness Book of World Records 2010 after trimming the hair of 33 women in a swimming pool in Chiswick.
He raised £1,000 for Children in Need as part of his challenge.
David, who owns David Rae Hair Spa in Petts Wood, said: “The record stood at 11 haircuts, my target was 15, but I managed to cut 33 in one hour in scuba gear.”
Although the camera recording the official attempt only captured 45 minutes and 27 haircuts, it was still enough to put David in the record books.
