RESIDENTS can learn about fungi and an ancient piece of technology at two separate events.
The first event takes place on September 26 between 10.30am and 3pm at Keston Village Hall in Heathfield Road.
It will give adults the chance to learn about fungi.
There will be an expert on hand and people on the course should wear clothes suitable for fieldwork and should bring a packed lunch.
To book a place call 01689 862815.
The second event takes place on the same day between 11am and 3.30pm at High Elms Country Park in Shire Lane, Farnborough.
Visitors can drop into the conservation garden to see how a pole lathe works.
This ancient piece of technology uses no electricity and used to be used to make a range of wooden items.
