IT WAS fun with a nature theme as children aged from four to 11 enjoyed a summer activity day.
Organised by St John the Evangelist Church in Church Road, Sidcup, and held in the church hall, the event is an annual summer holiday attraction.
The day started with a scavenger hunt and this was followed by a series of arts and crafts sessions.
Children were able to make themselves a bird table, to put in their gardens and attract birds, and a pair of binoculars to watch them with.
Even the paper crafts had a nature theme.
And to finish the day the children each made a designer bag, to take home the results of their day’s work.
Organiser Marcia Philbin said: “The children really enjoyed being able to take the things they made home with them.”
