RAMBLERS will be able to follow in the footsteps of the borough’s most important scientists by embarking on two countryside walks next month.
On September 5, Bromley Countryside and Parks Service has organised a three-mile trek around High Elms Country Park with scientist and politician John Lubbock’s great grandson.
The walk starts at 2pm from the country park’s BEECHE centre in Shire Lane, Farnborough.
And on September 6, there will be shorter walk around the chalk grassland of the Cudham valley which was once explored by Charles Darwin.
Sunday’s walk starts at 10am from the Cudham Recreation Ground car park in Cudham Lane North.
