Police have confirmed the identity of a 23-year-old woman found dead in her home on Friday night.
A Kent police spokeswoman said: "Following a post mortem earlier this afternoon (August 19) at Darent Valley Hospital, the body of a woman found dead at Hampton Crescent, Gravesend, has been confirmed as Syeda Lipia Begum."
Police found the 23-year-old after attending her home at around 9pm on Friday (August 14).
A 34-year-old man, believed to be Mrs Begum's husband, has been charged with her murder.
Friends of Mrs Begum say she was the mother of a five-year-old boy and three-month-old girl.
- Aminur Rahman Bachchu, aged 34, of Hampton Crescent, Gravesend, appeared at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with murder.
- He was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 1.
