OUR August meeting began with a group photograph to commemorate our 60 years as an Institute.
Our speaker was Anita Jones and her subject was the History of Handkerchiefs, from Roman times to the present day.
Anita traced the hankerchief's history with a lot of amusing anecdotes.
Our next meeting is on September 8, our Autumn Show.
We meet at the Memorial Hall in Lewis Road at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.
