POLICE are appealing for a second biker to contact them following a fatal road accident in Sydenham on Tuesday (June 16).

Mark Scott Goulbourne died after his black Yamaha R6 motorbike collided with a car in Lawrie Park Road at around 4.30pm.

Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance attended the crash at the junction of Lawrie Park Crescent, but the 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination yesterday (June 17) revealed the biker died from a head injury.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for the rider of a second motorbike that was in the vicinity at the time of the collision to contact us.”
