IN THE competition to find the hottest musical talent in Bexley, the contestants have been narrowed down to the final 20.
After surviving auditions and musical boot camps, the remaining BeXfactor participants have been broken down into bands, duos and solo acts to prepare for live performances on stage at this year’s Danson Festival on July 4 and 5.
Following a special workshop over the half term holiday with Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Phil Ramacon, musician Eddie Cantor and club promoter and producer Phil Burnell, the finalists are currently attending a series of Saturday master classes to prepare material for their performances.
Mr Cantor said: “I had no idea what to expect from the BeXfactor students but I was absolutely blown away by their pure, natural ability.”
The most promising of the students will be offered scholarships at the Point Blank Music College, whose past pupils include X Factor winner Leona Lewis.
