Man Vs Blender is a band made up of teenager friends aiming for the Big Time.

Who is in the band? Adam Simpson, vocals and rhythm guitar, James Johnson, lead guitar, Liam Johnson, drums and Phill Smith, bass.

How old are you?

We are all 14 apart from James, who is 16.

What do you do when you're not singing?

When we are not practising we are normally hanging out together, trying to promote ourselves in our local town or we hang around with friends and just enjoy our spare time.

Where are you all from?

Adam and James are from Hayes, Phil and Liam are are from Bromley When did you form?We formed at school. Adam had written some songs and wanted a band to play them so we all got together and started practising and writing more songs.

Describe your sound and influences

Our sound could be described as alternative, mellowed-out indie, something to ease yourself after a hard day. Our influences are mainly the White Stripes, Travis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and other alternative/indie bands.

Gigs?

We have only played one gig which was at Hayes School on November 12. We really messed up. We were nervous and the sound system was horrible. We have a gig next month at The Cartoon. We hope it will be a good show.

Any releases?

Idaho, I Don't Know is the band's debut EP.

Hopes and aspirations?

Just to release a lot more material, get ourselves a record deal and play a lot of gigs. We just want to make music for the fans who support us.

What's coming next?

Hopefully a debut album out by March when we will have lined up a lot more gigs and our fan base would have grown larger.
