CARE worker Chloe Hanchen was delighted to be named Green Champion for her efforts to make the street she grew up in the cleanest in London.
The 29-year-old wants saving the environment to be fun for residents of Cressingham Road in Lewisham, so she has shown them films and got them involved in games which promote action on climate change.
A project analysing the amount of power residents use is her latest venture, which she hopes will help them be more energy efficient.
She said: “Winning this award has really inspired me to continue with my work, and hopefully it will also inspire my local residents to continue to learn more about the environment.”
