A PENSIONER collapsed in front of his fellow bus passengers this afternoon (January 30) and later died in hospital.
A number 336 bus was in Page Heath Lane in Bickley at around 1.20pm when an 86-year-old man on board fell ill.
Fellow passengers raised the alarm and the unconscious Bromley resident was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough by ambulance but he later died.
Police say he boarded the bus in West Street, Bromley, earlier in the afternoon.
Officers are currently trying to contact the pensioner’s next of kin.
