YOUNGSTERS can have fun and get fit by taking part in discounted swims this half term.
The discount means youngsters under the age of 16 can have a swim for just £1 at White Oak Leisure Centre in Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, between February 16 and 20.
Councillor Elaine Bracken, Sevenoaks District Council's cabinet member for leisure, said: "Last year the £1 swims proved to be really popular with our younger residents as they are an affordable, fun way to improve health and develop confidence in the water.”
The offer is being organised by the council and Sencio Community Leisure, which runs the centre.
And it is funded by NHS West Kent as part of the National Choosing Health agenda, which aims to make it easier for people to make healthy choices.
