ADMINISTRATORS have announced that a music store in Bromley will close, resulting in 28 job losses.
Music, game and movie retailer Zavvi fell into administration on Christmas Eve and administrators have now said the store in the Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley will close with immediate effect.
The move will mean 28 employees will be made redundant.
Fourteen other stores around the UK will close and a total of 295 people will lose their jobs after the announcement from administrators Ernst and Young.
A spokesman said: “We are extremely grateful to the staff and management at all stores and the head office for their fantastic support throughout this difficult time.
“At this time we are continuing to look to further progress interest from a number of interested parties and consequently do not have a formal closure plan for the entire store network.”
A total of 48 other Zavvi Stores will continue trading as normal.
