A GARAGE manager accused of stabbing a married couple to death in their home appeared in court.
Stephen Packham, aged 43, of Keedenwood Road, Bromley, is alleged to have murdered John Neale, 63, and Pauline Neale, 57, four years ago in Blythe Close, Catford.
Mr Neale’s body was found in the summerhouse while his wife’s corpse was discovered in the main house on August 17, 1999. Both had been stabbed repeatedly.
Packham spoke only to confirm his name during a brief hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on September 1.
He faces two charges of murder. No plea was entered.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey for a plea and directions hearing on September 29.
