IF YOU love embroidery, then just come to our next meeting which will be on Saturday, February 21 when Olga Garner will be sharing with us the secrets of the embroideries in Rochester Cathedral.
Over the years, the embroiderers have made various vestments for the cathedral and those who lead services there, and Olga has helped to work on them, so her talk should be fascinating.
We hope you will come and visit us – see you there.
As usual, it will be held in St Andrew's Centre, Gravesend, between 2pm and 4pm and cost £2 for members and £3.00 for non-members.
The Young Embroiderers will be making a quilt from scrap paper and they meet between 11am, again at St Andrew's. The cost is £1.00.
