THIEVES broke into a cash machine at Sidcup train station in an early morning raid.

The four men were wearing hoods and gloves while they used tools to attack the NatWest ATM and police believe they may have had a vehicle nearby.

British Transport Police officers are investigating and want to speak to anyone who was around the station in Station Road between 3am and 4.30am on January 17 when the theft took place.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jeremy Walley also wants to hear from rail users and nearby residents who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the area during the previous day.

It has not been revealed how much money was taken.
