THOUSANDS of daffodil bulbs have been planted in green spaces around the borough.
Friends groups have been having mass bulb planting sessions in preparation for next spring.
Last weekend the Friends of Tugmutton Common planted 2,000 daffodil bulbs in the open space next to Starts Hill Road, Farnborough.
Secretary Ginni Fryer said: “We want to make a lovely show for next spring.”
The Friends of Penge Recreation Ground will be planting bulbs from 3pm on December 3.
If you would like to join in this session or find out about any other planting sessions over the next few weeks, call Bromley Council’s landscape helpdesk on 020 8313 4471 or email landscape.
