MOTORISTS were stuck in jams of up to three hours after a smash involving two cars and a bus.
A 17-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital and another two people were injured, including the driver of one of the cars who fled the scene.
The man was later arrested at Lewisham Hospital after he sought treatment for minor head injuries.
He was taken to Bromley police station and given bail in connection with failing to stop at the accident in Croydon Road, Penge, on June 6.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The 17-year-old woman was unconscious and had a major head injury. She was taken to Royal London Hospital.” An 87-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries.
