THE director of a parcel and freight business, which failed with debts of £470,000, was banned from running another company for five years.
Simon Andrews, 38, of Longlands Road, Sidcup, is the former director of Acclaim (Northfleet) Ltd, in Swanscombe.
The company was placed into voluntary liquidation on March 15, 2001, and Mr Andrews was banned from being a company director or involved in forming a new company for five years.
Matters of unfit conduct included failing to submit VAT returns and the failure to prepare and file accounts with Companies House.
