AT THE club’s recent annual awards ceremony two films scooped all the major club awards.
Joe Tanti claimed Best Comedy and Most Innovative Film for his madcap movie Maxwell’s Silver Hammer.
Eighteen-year-old Joe, who lives in Hayes, won two trophies last year.
Richard and Brenda Troughton, from West Wickham, were awarded Best Film awards by the judges and by a ballot of club members for their outstanding travelogue Cruise to Norway.
These films and many others were screened at the Spring Park Film Makers’ Annual Show last week at the Emmanuel Church, the Grove, West Wickham.
The club welcomes new members who want to make better use of their camcorders to meetings held at the church every Thursday evening.
