ST PAULINUS’ CRAYFORD MOTHERS’ UNION On Thursday, June 5, members of St Paulinus celebrated the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Mothers’ Union in Crayford.
They were joined at a service of praise and thanksgiving by members from other branches in the deanery and diocese.
The service was led by the Rector of Crayford, Rev’d Anthony Lane. It included the admission of three new members by the Diocesan President, Mrs Angela Pain, Mr Jeremy Ducker played the organ and Miss Lydia Gray sang "Mary Sumner’s Personal Player" to a setting specially composed for this service by Mr Reg Boulton.
After the service members and guests enjoyed a buffet lunch and birthday cake.
