FOUR teenagers appeared in court after allegedly going on a night-time burglary spree in a stolen car.

The four were picked up by police when they crashed the maroon Ford Fiesta they were using.

Officers spotted the car driving along Leaves Green Road, Biggin Hill, while investigating a break-in at a nearby petrol station in the early hours of the morning.

They followed it to Westerham and arrested the teenagers after the car swerved and crashed into a roundabout at Beggars Lane.

The four, who are all from Croydon, had minor injuries.

They are accused of burgling at the Shell garage, in Leaves Green Road, and a DIY shop in Coney Hall, as well as theft from the Esso garage, in Pratts Bottom.

Sonny Stevens, aged 18, of Dacre Road, Jovan Walker, aged 18, of Euston Road, and Anthony Leckey, aged 18, of Brightwell Close, are due to appear before magistrates on Friday.

A fourth youth, who is 17 and can not be named for legal reasons, will also appear.

The four have been charged with a total of 19 offences, including theft and aggravated vehicle taking, on June 4.
