GLORIOUS sunshine was just the icing on the cake during an afternoon of fun for youngsters and their parents.
Families with children up to 13 years old took full advantage of the free entertainment laid on at the Youth and Community Centre, in St Mary’s Road, Swanley.
T-shirt painting, circus skills workshops and badge making were some of the activities laid on to mark the success of projects run by the Children’s Fund in Swanley.
The event was organised by Sevenoaks District Council following numerous projects to support children and their parents in the White Oak and St Mary’s wards.
It was also a chance for residents to say what other improvements they would like to see in the town.
