YOUNGSTERS with something to say about their neighbourhood are being invited to attend a seminar.
The Greenwich Young People seminar, which aims to engage youngsters in making decisions about their communities, will be held on Saturday.
Organised by Greenwich Council’s housing services, the four-hour seminar will comprise a web designer’s presentation, a celebrity guest DJ, a buffet lunch and a chance to mingle with council staff.
Councillor Vicky Morse, cabinet member for young people, said: “The day will also give young people the chance to meet new people, explore art and music and find out about career options.” The event will be held in the Greenwich Suite at Charlton Athletic Football Club, Floyd Road, Charlton, from 11am to 3pm. For information, call Queenie Osawaru at Greenwich Council on 020 8921 6063.
