A BEXLEY man has joined the South East London Strategic Health Authority as a non-executive director.
David Blake, regional communications director for Barclays Bank and formerly head of communications at The Woolwich is a former deputy chairman of Queen Mary’s, Sidcup, and a non-executive director of the old Bexley District Health Authority. He is deputy chairman of Bexley Community Leisure Ltd, chairman of governors at Beths Grammar School, a member of the Bexley mayor’s charity committee, Bexley Thamesside Partnership and the Horniman Museum development committee and a non-executive director of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival. Mr Blake said: “I am committed to supporting my community and health is a key issue in south east London. It is important to me services are improved. That includes listening to what people want.”
